DaculaDoctors.com
The mail bag is piling up. This one was sent in by AJ Martin. Love that the URL gets top billing on this board and the use of leading caps and no dubs gives it a fighting chance of being remembered in a drive-by. Originally, I thought the URL was DraculaDoctors.com (Scrubs fans will appreciate my mix-up -- remember when JD daydreams about Dr. Acula?) but I'm sure the fine citizens of Dacula, GA will not make the same mistake.

Unfortunately, it's not Dracula, like the vampire, but Dacula, (without an R), a town in Georgia. For me, that makes it a bad URL for anybody unfamiliar with the community. However, it probably works fine for their target clientèle.
I thought it was "dracula" too at first glance. They could register DraculaDoctors.com (still available as of 12/09/07) and forward any traffic to their website. It's well worth the $7 yearly registration fee, even if only a few people a month misspell the domain.
Good catch guys. I've updated the post. Agree it's still a good URL because people who live in Dacula will know how to spell it. I guess I must've been thinking about those Scrubs episodes where JD daydreams out being Dr. Acula.
Wow, I live & work within a block of that sign! By the way, it's pronounced "Dah-Q-La". Love to know what you think of our URL... DiamondDwellings.com (we bought all the versions without the double D's and without the S at the end too.
Well done, Matt. Like how you use different font sizes and colors on your site to help each word stand out. Will post it in my next batch.
