www.newcenturybk.com

Bad URL

Here's another case of missing letters. I don't know too many people that use "bk" as shorthand for "Bank." "Book" maybe but not "Bank." I hate to see companies taking the easy way out and shortening their URL without any rhyme or reason. I'm sure someone there thought this was a good idea because it would mean less letters people have to type to get to their website but the opportunity cost is many more people being frustrated that they can't remember it. This is not an URL they should be banking on.

bk is for books..
that's what springs to mind.

bkstore.com points to Barnes&Noble,
since they could not have bookstore.com

now very wise coming from a banking institution.

Bk is either the stock symbol for "The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation" or short hand for Burger King. But certainly not just Bank. Lame.

There is a newcenturybank.com website for a different company- newcenturybk.com is a logical choice.
