Here's another example of abbreviations gone wrong. Apparently National Geographic is trying to be more hip my shortening to Nat Geo. Sounds like a Steve Irwin stand in. And cramming all those letters in lowerrcase doesn't do anyone any favors. This URL should be released back into the wild.

I definitely think natgeotv.com is better than flashing nationalgeographic.com on the screen. NatGeo.com would've been better (and it looks like the domain is set to the nationalgeographic nameservers), but natgeotv still works.
I actually say NatGO (meaning NatGeo) when discussing programs at the water cooler. Sorry, but this one I think works, as even National Geographic says NatGeo in their voice ads.
My husband and I really enjoy natgeo.com, but the background music sometimes drives me nuts. We are in our 70's and don't hear well. It's hard to hear the narrative when the music is so loud! To us it doesn't add to the program.
National Geographic TV is the BEST channel on television. It's educational, interesting and very well done. There is so much "crap" on tv, your channel is so refreshing.
You need to market yourself more, let people know about your programming.
