This URL has an identity complex. It doesn't know what it wants to be -- other than a bad URL, that is.

Now, I've seen 2 different -- and both bad -- URLs in a TV spot before but never on screen at the same time. I've even seen 2 of the same bad URLs on the screen at this same time, but never this.

To be clear, I don't mind sticking the 12 in the URL to use as a direct response tracking mechanism but I wouldn't have included the www -- too busy. They almost got it right with the 2nd URL on the posterboard but not using caps for the T and S make it tough to decipher.

This treatment is double trouble. At least they stopped short of a triple-play.

My wife hates this URL. Not because it wraps around on 2 lines which is a huge no-no (as it doesn't register in people's minds as an URL -- or, if it does click, then most people just catch OFCHICAGO.COM) Not because they put the Lexus logo in front of the dealership name making it possible people with think the URL is LMcGRATHLEXUSOFCHICAGO.COM. No, my wife hates this URL because I've been trying to get a picture of it for 6 months now and have put both our lives at risk as I slow down to 25 MPH on the expressway to try and get an unobstructed view. Well, I finally got a good shot of this bad URL. I guess that's a wrap.

Here's one spotted by the URL-icious David Barnes. Wicker Park is a diverse neighborhood on the North side of Chicago -- well, as diverse as they come for the North side. Accordingly, at a passing glance, one might confuse chiro with churro here. A Little Leading Caps Would Go A Long Way. They need to work the kinks out of this url.
