The URL is Dead, Long Live QR Codes?
Just saw this article in AdAge -- Can a 'URL Killer' Save Our Text-Weary Thumbs?
"Imagine a QR code becoming the call-to-action on every print ad or billboard."
Uh oh. Do I need to start Good QR Bad QR? Truth is, they all look a bit queer to me.

Aaron, they are coming, not sure who will "own" the 2D code market in the US, I think in JP it's the QR Code. Scanlife is a strong owner in the US market.
I think they are a smart way to go for quick-bite size-no need to remember information collectors. No longer do I need to type a URL in form my hard to be accurate mobile keyboard, point/click/appear and I am there.
Right on. Reminds me of a Dixie Chicks song... Goodbye URL.
