This Bad URL was sent in by Jeff Campbell proving once again that it takes one to know one. Truth is they didn't have much to work with here in terms of URL display after picking this domain name. Can't say PentyOfFish.com looks any better. That double-F is just funky. Perhaps using alternating fonts or colors might have done the trick. As is, though, this URL offishally sucks. Oh yeah, and what's up with that slogan?

I read that as PlentyOffish.com. Offish is defined as "aloof; unapproachable; standoffish" by Dictionary.com. So their website is filled with people who are aloof and unapproachable. Yup, just where I want to look for a soulmate.

Im sure there was an article in DN Journal recently on there founder.
It does, and it's funny the owner ignores fixing ugly things and small bugs. "If it works, don't try to fix it". You never know what effects it can have..
PlentyOfFish takes in $10MM per year (most of it profit), employs only one person, and the owner works 4 hours per week. He made the cover of Inc magazine a few years ago. I'd love to have is bad URL.
