Here's another maddening Bad URL display from NBC5 Chicago. This one replaces the @ sign with the peacock. Yes, that's the same peacock that's also stands for NBC on house ads for NBC.com. I really prefer when they go with more obvious symbols like the human dot. I mean, what's next... will the peacock be the com? Will we start seeing URLs with only symbols? Maybe replace Chicago with the Sears Tower? Anyone remember the TV show Bumper Stumpers? Is that what we have to look forward to?
